Oh, how easily we can miscommunicate in our clumsy English language. It's like that old saying. "Women are from Venus; Men are from the Ren Fair." Or something like that.
When I say I teach 'stamping' classes, I've had people say "Oh, you collect postage stamps?". I have to mention cards, then it's "Oh, those stamps!". Regena
I walked into my favorite bead store to find a policeman buying some beads. Without thinking, I said "oh, a beading policeman". I had to do a quick "beads... beading...". Yikes!

ReplyDeletemakes me think of spinning class. A friend taught a class on spinning yarn but one lady who showed up was ready to exercise. She was converted, hehe.
